Year 6 held their exit point today and shared everything about forces! They explained about gravity, density, magnetic forces, and a lot more. They displayed their experiments to share what they had discovered. Thank you Year 6 for sharing your unit on forces with us.

The Year 4s invited us to their Medical Conference: How Can You Keep Yourself Healthy in Hong Kong. All the students had their stethoscopes and were ready to tell us all about how our body works! They made an interactive heart (that flashes lights), water bottle blood pumping device, board game of how the body works, mazes and more. It was such a fun exit point. Great job Year 4s!

At YCA the exit point is a very important part of the IPC curriculum and something students come to take very seriously due to the requirement to present ideas to an authentic audience, usually parents and staff. This week our Year 3 students presented on their “Shake It” unit where they learned about states of matter through the tasty context of creating sweet treats like ice cream and ice lollies.
