You are cordially invited to attend our YMCA Christian Academy Open Day, during which you will have the opportunity to meet our Senior Leadership, Admissions Team and teaching staff. The event will start out with an information session, a school tour and finish with a Q&A session. While parents are engaged with learning more about YCA, children will be joining one of our three workshops – gymnastics, arts or music. These workshops can be reserved when you are booking the free tickets. There are three sessions available, all of which are identical, so we kindly ask that you book only one session.

Congratulations to our Year 6 class of 2025! We take immense pride in your accomplishments this year. Each of you has developed greater independence, responsibility, and confidence in all your endeavors. We extend our best wishes for your upcoming adventures!

The Graduation camp has been great fun with lots of laughter and time to spend with friends. We are so proud to see how much they have grown. They followed the morning schedules in getting ready, packed their belongs for the day trips and set up the tables for dinner in the evening. They enjoyed stargazing, timeout activties, teamwork games, hikes and campfire at night. 

Some students were initially unable to attend due to sickness and other commitments but at the end, they had a full class much to the delight of all the children and staff. One of the highlights was celebrating Keith’s birthday – a day that will long stay in his and our memories.

What an amazing day at Lamma Island! The weather was absolutely perfect, and together, we worked hard in collecting all the trashes to keep the beach beautiful and clean. We collected 21 garbage bags full of trash including a table and foam box! Let’s continue to protect our oceans and beaches to make an impact on the world! Thank you to our amazing students and parents who joined us today.

You are invited to our Open Morning where you will meet our Senior Leadership and teaching team, tour the campus and see our children’s work. There will be Gymnastics, Music and Art workshops you can book in advance for your child.  You will have time to discuss your child’s education with our Senior Leadership Team and Admissions Team at the end of the event.

We celebrated Chinese New Year with a fantastic morning of performances from all our students. They confidently performed traditional Chinese New Year songs, dramas, poetry and dance. Afterwards, they had a blast at the Flower Fair where they played lots of carnival games and ate delicious snacks. Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!

Christmas is always extra special at YCA. This year, we had incredible performances by our Year 1 to Year 6 classes, YCA Choir, Chinese Hip Hop Club, Orchestra Ensemble and Recorder Club. We also had individual performances by students showcasing their talents! Special thanks to our student’s mom for performing 2 Christmas songs at our Christmas Fair.

Our Christmas Fair was lots of fun with game booths, face painting, delicious food and balloon twisting. Many thanks to our awesome PTA for organising this fun event. It was so fun that the students didn’t want it to end. It was amazing to see our YCA Alumni there as well!

During the last assembly of the calendar year, we had an impromtu snow storm! Students all gathered in the playground as they enjoyed some snow to kick start their Christmas holiday.
