Joining a new school in the middle of a school year can be frightening for children, especially if they are coming from a different curriculum. In this Zoom information session, we will discuss how we support mid-year joiners in terms of academics, social and emotion development. We will also share cases and how they have settled and improved academically.

Thank you Advance Music Academy for coming today to showcase different instruments for our students. They are very excited to trial these instruments and start their lessons during Term 2’s ECA/ASA.

Amazing performances by all our students! Thank you to Ms. Chua, Ms Weight and Ms. Cheung for organizing this special event. Our students had lots of fun playing at the booths and stuffing their faces with amazing food. Happy holidays!

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate this new YCA Christmas tradition. It was a warm and cozy evening. The twinkling lights on our stunning Christmas tree, the beautiful carols and the musical performances filled our hearts with joy. 🎄🎶

Our Year 5 went to Kadoorie Farm and learned about local plants and how they are part of the ecosystem with insects and other wildlife. They walked through a sensory garden and interacted with herbs, flowers, and plants. They also had a stick bug experience and saw some rescue animals like a barking deer and a civet.

Year 6 held their exit point today and shared everything about forces! They explained about gravity, density, magnetic forces, and a lot more. They displayed their experiments to share what they had discovered. Thank you Year 6 for sharing your unit on forces with us.

The Year 4s invited us to their Medical Conference: How Can You Keep Yourself Healthy in Hong Kong. All the students had their stethoscopes and were ready to tell us all about how our body works! They made an interactive heart (that flashes lights), water bottle blood pumping device, board game of how the body works, mazes and more. It was such a fun exit point. Great job Year 4s!
